The Living Shed demonstrates a quick, sleek and affordable solution to rebuilding two separated living quarters lost during the Woolsey Fire. The materiality of the Shou Sugi Ban siding establishes a connection to the many homes lost to the fire while further creating a deterrent to pests as well as future fires in the area.
